Kotor is a historical and natural beauty on the coastline along the Adriatic Sea. It’s almost impossible not to fall for its scenery of the mountains and the sea. As it’s an ancient settlement, the historical values are undeniable. Kotor has been taken over by many emperors and rulers from different kingdoms and countries therefore it has a mixed culture as well as architecture. You can see a combination of Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque architecture within the city.   

Kotor and Bay of Kotor have been added in the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage for the harmony of the monuments of the cities with the landscape, the town planning, being the center of art, architecture and goldsmith schools that had educated the aristocratic cities of captains and ship-owners, for having unique quantity, quality and diversity of monuments and cultural properties, for being highly characteristic and authentically preserved city. 

Kotor is not only a destination for the history, sun, sea and night life lovers. The steep rocky hills in the area give an advantage to the hikers and cycles to enjoy their stay in Kotor. This medieval town is framed by hills and mountains which gives the town a picturesque view.
