Having said that beaches in Kotor town are not as good as the ones in the other towns of the Bay of Kotor, it’s worth taking a trip to the beach in Budva which is 23 km / 14 miles to Kotor or Tivat which is 11 km / 7 miles to Kotor.
Mogren I and II Beach: There are two sandy beaches of totally 350 metre long connected with a tunnel in a rock. They are 21 km / 13 miles to Kotor.
Jaz Beach: There are two parts, one is 500 metre long and the other is the nudist beach which is 300 metre long. It’s pebbly in shallow but gets sandy as it gets deeper. It is 19km / 12 miles to Kotor.
Slovenska Beach: It’s a pebbly 1.5 km long beach. It is 23 km / 14 miles to Kotor.
Becici Beach: It is one of the most popular beaches. It’s a 2 km long sandy beach. It is 26 km / 16 miles to Kotor.
Kamenovo Beach: It is a 730 metre long sandy beach. It is 28 km / 17 miles to Kotor.
Prnzo Beach: It’s a rocky-sandy 350 metre long beach. It is 29 km / 18 miles to Kotor.
Milocer Beach: It’s a 380 metre long beach with a forest behind consisting of rare exotic trees. It is 30 km / 19 miles to Kotor.
Kraljicina Beach: It’s a 1km long beach with cypress and olive trees behind. It is 29 km / 18 miles to Kotor.
Sveti Stefan Beach: It’s the most attractive swimming location in the area. The beaches are 1170 metre long within a hotel complex. It is 32 km / 20 miles to Kotor.
Drobni Pijesak Beach: It is accessible from the sea. It’s a 250 metre long sandy beach. Can be visited by boat trips.
Perazica Do Beach: It’s a small sandy beach. It is 37 km / 23 miles to Kotor.
Petrovac Beach: It’s a 600 metre long reddish sandy beach which is one of the most popular beaches in Budva. It looks charming with the two isles Katic and Sveti Nedjela. It is 40 km / 25 miles to Kotor.
Lucice Beach: It’s a sandy 220 metre long beach with cypresses and pine trees behind. It is 40 km / 25 miles to Kotor.
Buljarica Beach: It’s the largest beach in Budva about 2250 metre long. It’s pebbly. It is 43 km / 27 miles to Kotor.
Trsteno Beach: It’s a 200 metre long sandy beach. It is 21 km / 13 miles to Kotor.
The Island of St Nikola: There are three sandy beaches on the island with the length of 840 metre in total. It is possible to go to the beaches by boat departing from Budva which is 23 km / 14 miles to Kotor.
