Perast is located 12 km / 7 miles to Kotor town center. In Perast you may witness the most stunning scenery in Montenegro. It’s a very small town with one main street near the sea. You can visit the island of Our Lady of the Rocks from Perast by boat which takes about 10 minutes to get there.

Every 30 minutes there’s a public bus to Perast from Kotor town. It takes about half an hour to go to Perast by bus.

Perast is a very small town. You can walk around the narrow roads of the town, eat and chill out, visit Our Lady of the Rocks Island and Perast Museum within 2,5 hours.
Captain Visko Bujovic’s Palace and Perast Museum: Formerly the palace of Visko Bujovic, now the museum in Perast. It dates back to the 17th century. There are the collections from the Republic of Venice till Austria-Hungary period.
